Good morning.

It's been a few busy and amazing days. So pleased the book launch went well, thanks to lots of help from my siblings. It was lovely to see many people I had not seen for many, many years. Some I had never seen but recognized through family resemblance. Connecting faces with people who have passed on years ago was amazing.

I almost can't believe I finally have my book in hand. Many positive reviews so far. The launch in Summerside will take place Sunday, Oct. 4.

That launch will be exciting because some of my children will be there and hopefully I will get to see many people I haven't seen for the last five years or more as well.

Weather for the past month has been beautiful and although temperatures have started to go down, it is still close to 20 degrees during the day. But the last of my flowers may have a touch of frost this morning. It was pretty cool last night.

Will touch base again after the PEI launch.

A significant day

I sent some of the photos for my book via Canada Post on Friday and today I sent the digital ones AND THE FINAL EDITION OF THE MANUSCRIPT FOR MY BOOK to the publisher.


Took me a while to get there, but now it's done.
